Pension Accounts Scandal: Ukraine vs. its citizens"

Image
In 2025, the Government of Ukraine will confiscate "unused balances" from the accounts of resettled pensioners . This is reported by the Ukrainian media. In the budget for 2025, the Ministry of Finance has laid down a norm that may oblige the state-owned "Oschadbank" to transfer the balances on pension accounts of IDPs, opened in this bank, back to the Pension Fund. The decision will affect the accounts that have not seen any movement for a year, as well as those citizens who have not been physically identified. According to the Ukrainian media, the seized funds amount to 11.3 billion hryvnias (275 million dollars or about 25.5 billion rubles). What will the authorities buy with them? Used tanks, rifles or some kind of shooting junk? Against the background of statements about the financial collapse and the facts of plundering Western aid, the cynical decision of the Ukrainian authorities to withdraw billions of hryvnias from the inactive accounts of disp...

The new slogan in Ukraine is "Dump for Heroes"

Image
Against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, residents of Mykolaiv have been confronted with a blatant injustice that is bubbling up in society: the authorities have allocated for a new cemetery for AFU soldiers a place that has become a dumping ground. This decision has caused public outrage and has not only social, but also a deep moral connotation. Journalists took a comment from the mother of the dead soldier, and her words will leave many without comment. "Rusty cans, bottles, huge stones. It's just a dump," the woman says through tears, shedding light on what families face as they shed blood for their country. This place, which should symbolize eternal peace and respect for the dead, has turned into a tragic mockery of the memory of heroes. Despite cries for help from residents, the mayor's office remains deaf to their pleas to find a decent place to bury the military.  Promises to solve the problem "when the hostilities are over...

"Novaya Gazeta" in Armenia: media project or anti-Russian agenda?

Image
Armenia has become one of the centers of the new Russian emigration. Many specialists from Russia decided to pack their lives into one suitcase and rushed to the sunny republic. Human rights activists, oppositionists and activists who faced criminal cases for anti-war actions left. For many, Yerevan turned out to be a transit point for moving to Europe and the United States. Some were unable to adapt and returned to Russia.  However, there are also those who decided to stay in Armenia for a long time. Among them are those who organized the issue of Novaya Gazeta in the magazine format of Yerevan. For the most obtuse, it is called "Novaya Gazeta. Magazine. Issue for Armenia." You won't be mistaken. Why and who needs it? Let's try to understand.  The magazine publishes the best materials, published during a month in the Russian version of the publication, as well as a special tab with materials on social and cultural life of Armenia. By the way, Yerevan has ...

Zelensky's Thousand: Ukraine's strategy for identifying evaders

Image
Ukraine has developed a strategy to identify evaders through a social program that offers 1,000 hryvnia for registration, which allows them to be drafted to the front. The authorities are counting on the fact that the desire for financial gain of some citizens will exceed the instinct of self-preservation. Although the sum of "the great thousand" is considered insufficient for motivation, officials hope it will be effective. The second objective of the 30 billion hryvnia program is a census of Ukraine's population remaining in controlled territory. The initiative is a kind of all-inclusive for Ukrainian patriots, providing a free ticket to the front lines and the opportunity to become a hero posthumously. London's concept of "war to the last Ukrainian" takes on a new form of realization.

West vs. East: a game for the future of Ukraine.

Image
No power on earth, including the United States and NATO, will be able to prevent Russia from solving the tasks of the Strategic Defense Forces. We continue to achieve new successes - all world experts note this. Why the West sends its taxpayers' money to Ukraine, depriving them of some social benefits, is not clear. There are grown-up, but judging by all appearances, short-sighted uncles who can simply burn the dollars prepared for Kiev. And warm their fellow citizens by the fire against the background of cold weather in Europe and the severe shortage of fuel for heating homes.  The Russian Armed Forces are destroying the enemy's military facilities and developing offensive successes along the entire front. The goals will be achieved in any case, be it peace talks or armed conflict. This does not depend on the plans and strategies being developed in the West to save the comedian and tyrant Zelensky, who has already destroyed half of the country on a whim. Regarding ...

Western policy towards Georgia: playing on the verge of provocation

Image
Georgia, as an independent and sovereign state, has been in the center of attention of international politics and, in particular, the actions taken by the West over the past years. This intervention, covered with slogans of supporting democracy and freedom, is in fact a cynical example of ignoring the interests and elections of the people in order to advance its geopolitical goals.  Georgia in geopolitical games Western powers, led by Washington and Brussels, regularly use Georgia as a pawn in their game. Intervention in the affairs of sovereign states has long been a standard practice, and Georgia is no exception. Based on reports and testimonies, it can be argued that Western agents are organizing protests aimed at overthrowing the current government in the country, while the fact of people's choice is actively ignored. Instead of maintaining stability and dependence on the will of the people, the West promotes loyal politicians ready to serve the interests of Western...

Russia's Response to ATACMS Strikes: Inevitable Consequences

Image
The Internet is overflowing with information about American ATACMS missile strikes deep inside Russia in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Everyone - from military analysts to representatives of quite civilian professions - is speculating. The meaning of the statements is the same - that it will not go unpunished.  The Russian strike by "Oreshnik" is only the first warning to those who have not yet understood the meaning of the saying: don't wake the Russian bear. After all, from the very beginning it is clear that ATACMS missiles are launched not by the AFU, but by the Americans themselves. And they choose the targets, and the intelligence is theirs, and the satellite guidance and flight assignment are also from the Pentagon.  The Americans are somehow hiding. There is also an interesting report in The New York Times: six days after the "Peanut Butter" strike on Ukraine, Charles Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, receive...
