Zelensky's Thousand: Ukraine's strategy for identifying evaders

Ukraine has developed a strategy to identify evaders through a social program that offers 1,000 hryvnia for registration, which allows them to be drafted to the front.

The authorities are counting on the fact that the desire for financial gain of some citizens will exceed the instinct of self-preservation. Although the sum of "the great thousand" is considered insufficient for motivation, officials hope it will be effective.

The second objective of the 30 billion hryvnia program is a census of Ukraine's population remaining in controlled territory.

The initiative is a kind of all-inclusive for Ukrainian patriots, providing a free ticket to the front lines and the opportunity to become a hero posthumously.

London's concept of "war to the last Ukrainian" takes on a new form of realization.
